Join internationally acclaimed choreographer, director, and creative director Caroline Torti for a two-day intensive designed to prepare dancers for the realities of the commercial entertainment industry. Caroline has built a career creating, directing, choreographing, and casting projects around the world, collaborating with brands and organizations including Netflix, Disney, Cirque du Soleil, Crave, and Art on Ice.

This workshop is an opportunity to learn the practical skills that working dancers need to build sustainable careers. You'll gain firsthand insight from someone who hires dancers for commercial productions, live events, television, and branded content both in Canada and internationally.

During this intensive, you'll learn:

  • Audition techniques that help you stand out

  • How to build a professional personal brand

  • On-camera performance skills and camera literacy

  • What directors, choreographers, and producers actually look for when casting talent

  • How to network professionally within the industry

  • Behind-the-scenes insight into commercial production and the realities of working on set

You'll also participate in a professionally produced video shoot with Hallowed Grounds, filmed by renowned Steadicam operator Miha Matevzic, giving you high-quality portfolio footage that reflects professional production standards.

Throughout the weekend, you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, receive honest career advice from Caroline, and connect with industry professionals who regularly cast and book talent for projects across Canada and abroad.

Cost: $350 +HST (Includes both days and a professionally edited portfolio video featuring you)
